A Lantern Though the Mangled Forest pits two players against each other in a stand-off/ game of card-play, bluffing, positioning and reading your opponent. Players will take on the roles of either The Beast | Players each a separate role: The predator Beast or The lost and brave Girl. The Girl is trying to escape the forest in one piece. The Beast is trying to catch. The game ends when the beast has been found or when the girl fails to do so.
The Girl wanders too far into the darkened forest and gets lost. She is stalked by The Beast who will not relent until the Girl is kidnapped. However, the Girl is equipped with a lantern that will ward off the Beast if turned. Will the Beast reach the Girl or will she turn the lantern on her attacker to preserve herself.
